Meet Dr. Keilman

Dr. Mark Keilman was born and raised in The Dalles and pursued his career in dentistry after receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree at Oregon State University. He received his dental education at Creighton University. After graduating Dr. Mark joined his father Dr. Leo Keilman who had been practicing in The Dalles for 38 years. The Dalles was a perfect place to call home, raise a family and from that moment on Keilman Dental Clinic, PC was born.

When Dr. Mark Keilman is not at the office, he spends time in his yard landscaping, biking, hunting, camping and supporting his family in their extra curricular activities. Dr. Mark Keilman is committed to the community he calls home and is involved in Relay for Life, local schools sport programs, Riverside Gymnastic Club ,Knights of Columbus, Theatre Company of The Dalles--to name a few.

At Keilman Dental Clinic we are proud to offer senior citizens complimentary periodic exams, fluoride treatment, taxi service (for those without means of transportation) and blood pressure screening. Our team is committed to our patients and their dental health and goals.

    Meet the Team

    Adam Roland

    Patient Coordinator

    Addie Schwartz

    Dental Hygienist

Addie is just one of our caring hygienists. She enjoys performing hygiene procedures and assisting patients with dental education and services.

Addie loves celebrating memorable occasions with her patients, as well as encouraging those facing trials. Addie's free time is spent with her husband, family, and friends.  She enjoys family celebrations, hiking, music, and serves in her local church. Addie was born and raised in the Mid-Columbia area.  She has worked as a hygienist for over 30 years and still loves her profession.

Addie is married with two grown daughters, both in the medical field, two great sons-in-law, and four amazing grandchildren.  We are so very fortunate to have her expertise and compassion in our office.

    Brenna Coma

    Dental Assistant

Brenna has been with the Clinic almost two years serving as a Dental Assistant.  Keilman Dental is very fortunate to have her as part of the staff assisting Dr. Mark, hygienist and anyone else who may need an extra helping hand.  One of the things that Brenna loves the most about working at the clinic is the staff.  As co-workers, we do our best to keep our spirits high by making each other laugh all day long.  "We are a silly, productive bunch!"  A happy working environment produces a caring staff.  When Brenna is not at the office she loves participating with anything that involves family, indoors or outdoors, it doesn't matter.  As long as her son, Wade is tagging along she is a happy mamma.  Brenna was raised on the coast of Washington in a small town called South Bend. Attended Grays Harbor Community College where she earned her AA degree.  Moving to the Gorge area in 2009 she attended Yakima Valley CC for her Dental Assisting training.  Recently married, they are expecting a second baby due in May of 2017.  Wade is ready to be a big brother, but until then he is the "'sparkle in her eye!".

    Cathie Keilman

    Office Manager

Cathie has been working with the Keilman Dental Clinic on and off for many years.  Cathie earned her Dental Assistant, EFDA, Radiology, ICE, certification in 1987.  Cathie worked with Dr. Leo Keilman for a few years, and then took a break from assisting to be home for her older two children, and volunteer as an EMT for the Sherman County Ambulance.  2006 is when a change in life brought her back to The Dalles, where she was born and raised.  Dr. Mark and Cathie were married on November 23, 2007, where their family grew to a “Brady Bunch” of five kids.  When she is not busy with the above mentioned, she enjoys being creative in many aspects; sewing, crafting, restoring old furniture, restoring homes, landscaping, gardening is to mention just a few things.  The best part of my job is taking care of people.  I have a heart for helping others and giving them the best treatment possible when they walk through the door.

    David Owens

    Accounts Receivable Manager

Dave is currently the Accounts Receivable Manager but wears many “hats” in the office.  Besides taking great care of our patients with scheduling, financial planning, billing and fighting with insurance companies, he trouble-shoots computer issues, general handyman, and makes sure the assistants have snacks for when they are hungry. His favorite part of his job is helping others get past their dental phobia much like he is working to get past his own dental fears. Outside of work he is on the board of directors for The Theatre Company of The Dalles, an actor, director, playwright, set designer and builder, theater teacher, and when the weather allows hikes and camps. Dave was born in Lompoc, CA at Vandenberg AFB but has also lived in Nebraska (Omaha and Lincoln), Illinois (Chicago, twice), and Oklahoma (Stillwater). His family is spread across the country with a brother in Montana, sister and her family in Minnesota and parents in Florida.  Our patients and staff would not know what to do without him.

    Doris Sanchez

    Patient Coordinator

Doris is one of our Patient Coordinators. She is there to greet our patients as they check into the office and ready to answer any questions given. Doris schedules our patients with the utmost care to detail and flexibility to work for our patients' busy lives. Doris also takes charge in keeping a personal contact with our patients by sending Birthday cards, sympathy cards, congratulations and any other type of correspondence needed to keep that personal touch with our clients. One of the best parts of her job is the feedback the front office will hear from our patients after seeing Dr. Keilman. Many times we have had patients just say, “You guys are awesome”. It makes all the work worthwhile knowing we are doing something right. On Doris’s free time, (which is none) she is her boys #1 fan with their sports activities. On occasion, you will find her hiking with her family in the beautiful Columbia Gorge. Born in Mexico, Doris was raised in The Dalles and has worked several different iconic places such as Neva’s Hallmark, Cup of Mud, Home Depot are just naming a few. Doris is a mother of 5 amazing boys. She is a very proud Mom and Keilman Dental is so fortunate to have her working with our staff and patients.

    Kristi Kinkade

    L.P.N

Kristi is a smile you may have seen in different areas of the Gorge. With a history of Dental Assisting, Kristi went back to College and earned her LPN license. Her role is a very important one at the clinic. Kristi manages the back office assisting Dr. Keilman in assured quality care for our patients. When she has down time, she is busy keeping the office supplied, repairing and maintaining the equipment, and lab work. With her knowledge of Dental and her LPN, it is a perfect combination to also be the leader of our HIPPA and OSHA rules and regulations. Kristi keeps the office trained and up to date with the newest regulations. The best part of her job is helping the patients achieve dental goals while making them comfortable like they are part of our family. Kristi loves the diversity of patients that we have and finds each one uniquely amazing to work with. When Kristi isn’t busy at the clinic she spends time with friends and family. Some of her favorite past times are Kayaking, hiking, and cooking. Kristi was raised in the Gorge area, has been in the dental field for 19 years, 7 of those years working here at the clinic. Kristi has a son, Robbie, who is attending the University of Washington in Seattle and we can’t forget Lucky ( the best companion of a doggie you could ask for). Keilman Dental is so fortunate to have someone like Kristi who is so passionate and professional for patient care.

    Krystal Goss

    Dental Assistant

Krystal is one of our dental assistants (aka) “lil' Ray”. Krystal earned her nickname by bringing her smile and sense of humor into the office. The one thing that she loves about her job here at the clinic is serving the patients in any way possible to make their experience a positive one. She loves it when she can bring a smile to not just the patient’s face but her fellow co-workers too. Playing silly pranks may be involved in bringing those good times, but hey, a girl has to do what a girl has to do. Krystal likes to spend her past time with her family, hiking, fishing or out by the ole BBQ. Krystal was born and raised here in The Dalles, graduated from The Dalles High School in 2000. Krystal started working for the clinic in 2007, leaving for a few years, decided to come back to the best place to work for. Krystal is a hard working mom with 4 children and 2 dogs. Keilman Dental is very proud to have her as part of the team.
